Mississippi Boy at it again!

Brett Farve only one word to describe him, unpredictable! I listen to a lot of sports talk radio and news radio. I think I got turned on to these types of programs from my brother (sports) and my dad (news). I listen to a bunch of different takes on the Brett Farve coming out of retirement stories yesterday. So I thought today I would give my opinion on the situation. I think he she be allowed to play until the day he decides that he can't play to level or injury stops him. Now I understand that he retired, lied over and over, and has come back two times now, but if a sports franchise is going to pay him to do so who am I to question the reason. Minnesota obviously needs a quarterback who can take the pressure off of Adrian Peterson. They need to get the eight people on the majority of plays out of the box to give him more space to run and make plays happen. Tarvis Jackson and Sage Rosenfuls (not sure how to spell his name) weren't going to draw that much attention to get them out of the box. Brett Farve is good quarterback now and an upgrade from what they got playing for them now. Have you seen there new ratings on Madden on the other two quarterbacks horrible. Try to play with its even worse just ask Drew. We even having a running joke that when a quarterback makes a crazy pass, we call it the Tavaris. He deserves to play for as long as he wants or until people quit paying him. Don't blame Brett Farve totally on this its also the Minnesota Vikings at fault too! And that my take!

Michael Vick to the Eagles!

My first reaction to this story. Wow! Someone is actually going to take a chance on this guy. I must tell you that I have mixed emotions about this issue:

First, I do believe everyone has a second chance in life and that people make mistakes. I do believe that after you have served your time that you should be given a second chance.

Second, I do have a problem however giving a guy a second chance that took the money that fans gave him and used it to kill animals. Now I am in no way a PETA activist, but I do think these animals were taught to do something that is inhumane.

Finally, I don't have a problem with him playing football or a team signing him to a multi-year deal as the Eagles have done. I think that is unfair to the normal everyday American, because we aren't given the same treatment. But hey that's American justice, if you have money you can buy your way out of any problem. I hope that in his return that he turns out to be a better quarterback than he was on his last outing and that he learns from his mistakes.

I must first start off by saying I have no real idea why I am starting to blog. I can also tell you I am not a writer or English major, so I hope that when I blog that my point comes across correctly. I have thought about doing this for along time.
